RTMP

Well, myspace has decided to use the flash RTMP protocol for music. This will stop basically every online myspace grabber from working including ours.

Annoyingly i know nothing about RTMP or how to connect to it, so if anyone knows anything about rtmp or how to download an mp3 from it once you have the file location this would be really helpful to us.

Re: RTMP

Thanks, I already knew how to access that file, its how the old grabber worked. Youll notice the rtmp link to the file in there.

Re: RTMP

It seems that the rtmp link is randomly generated and you can do only 1 request at a time to get the song but unfortunately this request is already done by their Flash Player not directly by the User.and after that the link won't work anymore. In other words you connect to the Flash Player and it connects to the server.

Correct me if im wrong.

Re: RTMP

If you visit the link again later, the rtmp link is the same. I dont think its randomly generated.

"you connect to the Flash Player and it connects to the server."

i agree with this, its needs verifying which at the moment i cant figure out how to do.
