trying to hack my program

Hi everyone,

I wrote a very simple program with 2010 and I'm trying to hack it with ollydbg.

The program has a form with button and text box. when you click on the button the counter in the text box add 1. You can click until the counter reach to five.
when it reach to five you get a messagebox that tell you that you cant.
I want to hack this program so that the The software will allow me to continue to press unlimited number of clicks.

the program is here:

How I do it with ollydbg or something else?

Thanks in advance

Re: trying to hack my program

Hello there, I'm also a newbie about those "hacking tools". I will just tell you what I know. If you are not really familiar how to use it, I suggest watch [this]( first.

First, you have to download "Ollydbg". Open it, then on the top-left corner, (there's a button there that's dedicated only for .exe files). Open your vb application through Ollydbg(don't open it directly!).

Now it will disassemble your program. The easiest way I can think of, since it has an indicator when you can't go on(the msgbox()), try searching for the string or text being printed on it. Then on the 5th try, put any breakpoints that the ollydbg will trigger and pause your program.

After you have found out where the disassembled code is, try changing the value where the CMP _value1, _value2 or just change/toggle the state of the flags.

Hope this is helpful.
